Project Brief
OMCA Donors at the Curator level and above were invited to this exclusive event celebrating East Bay artists and their connections to community. Many local artists are not simply working on aesthetic, but also creating markets, networks, and businesses that blur the lines of traditional art-making. In a panel discussion moderated by OMCA Senior Curator of Art, Rene de Guzman, guests heard from artists about how their practice is influenced by the changing Bay Area.
For this invitation I wanted to focus on the artists and keep it simple. So my idea was to "connect" these artists in a visual way, since these talks were connecting them to the community, I wanted to show that.
